Biography
From an early age, William Costello displayed a passion for music that has followed him from the basic disciplines of rhythm to the live stage. At first, he studied piano and quickly learned the principles of harmonies, layered vocals and catchy melodies from early influences including The Beatles, Queen, ABBA, The Carpenters and the Bee Gees.

As a teen, he expanded his skill set to the drums when MTV delivered rock's metal influence and bands such as King's X, The Dixie Dregs and Weather Report became staples of influence for him.

Highly influenced by Weather Report and its bassist, Jaco Pastorious, William matched his drum skills with an interest in the bass guitar. Through the following years, he artfully combined his percussion and bass skills into a genre of musical styles from rock and blues to instrumental and pop.

William's reputation as a musician and performer has carried him to the stage with some of New Jersey's hottest cover bands. Past cover bands include Frontier, Crybaby, Roller Coaster, Big Radio, Fluid, Ouskirts, Mugshot, Urban Trip, and Lurker Park.

William is currently playing bass and singing for Trippin' Carla. An avid studio musician, he has worked with many local artists and is currently putting the finishing touch on his solo CD, "Just Past The Sky" which will be released hopefully in his lifetime.
